7 Minutes In Heaven

It’s back! After 2 years of tossing, turning, rustling, and convulsing in our dusty broom closet, 7 Minutes in Heaven, our anything-goes-variety-show, has returned! It’s returning so hard we’re gonna do it TWICE! On April 4th and April 11th, come see what happens when we give 10 performers/acts 7 minutes each to do WHATEVER THEY WANT on stage. It could be music, sketch comedy, interpretive dance, competitive hot dog eating – whatever their twisted hearts desire. Don’t like what you see? Just wait 7 minutes and we’ll wheel out another one!

SLOTS STILL AVAILABLE: Want to come play as a performer?! All skill levels welcome – you could be a stage veteran or a complete and total noob, we don’t care. Come get fun, odd, serious, or flat-out bizarre. If you’re interested in performing, drop us a Facebook message or toss an email to bj@space55.org. Slots fill up fast – don’t delay!

Babalon!

Babalon!

Babalon features performances by Angel Lopez, Clara Bentz, Matt Clarke, Cody Goulder, Melody Knudson, Maddie Miller, and Ken Bailes.

Babalon will be performed at two venues: The Irish Cultural Center (Jan. 30-Feb. 2) and Stage Left Productions (Feb. 7-16).

February, 2025: Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm. The closing day performance on Feb. 16 will be at 5pm.

In the 1940’s, Jack Parsons worked in his lab by day to build rockets; by night, the young scientist would host occult parties in his Pasadena home. Both a pioneering rocket scientist and disciple of Aleister Crowley, Parsons attracted strange souls to him like moths to a flame – people like the mysterious artist Marjorie Cameron and the notorious L. Ron Hubbard. Together these three would work mystic rituals in the desert to invoke the goddess Babalon and usher in a new era. They would make history together… and tragedy.

Based on an incredible true story, Paul A. Green’s Babalon follows Parsons, Hubbard, Cameron, and Crowley as they commune and scheme and conjure their futures into being. A U.S. premiere, Space 55 and Ronin Theatre Company are proud to bring this poetic, haunting work of speculative theatre to life.
